It's hard to believe January is almost done - we have a busy month ahead of us!!

FRENCH:

• Your speeches should be underway, and we've been working on them in class...the deadline for handing in your written copy is February 18, with our classroom presentations beginning February 21. Once we've completed these, we'll decide who the candidates for the school-wide competition will be. This contest will be held March 2.
• Book reports are due February 28, 2011. Don't forget - this was assigned in September, 2010 - there's really no reason why you can't have it done on time!

SCIENCE:

• We wrote the test for Chapter 1 a while ago, and we haven't had an opportunity to do the re-write. If you're interested in doing it (and your mark is below 70% on this test), you will be able to come in at lunch (Days 1, 3, 5 or 6) between January 26 and February 2 to do so...after that, you'll be out of luck!
• If you need help, let me know - I'm always in my class at lunch (on Days 1, 3, 5 and 6) to help! :)

Please remember to plug in your netbook every night! Students who forget to do so will not be allowed to plug in at school when their battery runs out.

Netbooks are to be transported in their netbook bags at all times.
